Eaglestone Luxembourg unveils its new (very) high ecological performance office project: The Nest

An exceptional nest at La Cloche d'Or (Luxembourg)

Creating the city of tomorrow It is with this ambition thatEaglestone organised an architectural competition this summer for a brand new office building in the Cloche d'Or district in the south of Luxembourg.

This has now been achieved with "The Nest"This is a project designed by Maison Edouard François, a pioneer in green real estate (Tower Flower on the ZAC d'Asnières in Paris, Jardins d'Anfa in Casablanca, etc.) and regularly ranked among the world's top architectural practices.

More than just an office building, "The Nest"Its gabion façade has been designed to accommodate and protect local flora and fauna.

Offices in close link with the nature

With 8,500 m2 above ground and almost 2,000 m2 of services on the garden level, this project was chosen for its reduced energy requirements as much as for its autonomous production capacity. The canopy covering the atrium will be home to a large solar power plant. photovoltaic.

Inside the building, panoramic lifts, walkways and staircases are arranged around a natural central atrium. The vegetation extends all the way to the ceiling: here we are opting for biophilic architecture, offering occupants a connection with nature, even indoors.

Welcoming and bright, "The NestThe "Maison Edouard François" has been designed to bring together new, more unifying and convivial ways of working. As the Maison Edouard François explains, the aim is to "introduce an interlude of calm and greenery into the sometimes hectic pace of the city. A number of shared spaces have been created inside the building, including a fitness room and informal relaxation areas, as well as on the roof. The occupants of 'The Nest' will also be able to move between floors thanks to the many outdoor walkways, and maintain a privileged link with the green environment throughout the day.

Participate in the strong momentum of green investment

Over and above its architectural qualities and uses, The Nest meets the objectives of the forthcoming European taxonomy, which will encourage companies and banks to move towards investments that do not emit greenhouse gases. Visit message of the economy and the financial sector. clear think green. Eaglestone has taken the measure of this paradigm shift and decided to take concrete action, with the launch of its first Green Bond, listed on Euronext Growth Brussels, a few weeks ago.

The project is scheduled for completion in 2025.
